Adobe Plans To Kill Off Mobile Flash In August

The end.

None

Last November, Adobe announced its plans to end development on mobile Flash and the software giant has finally given a hard deadline for the move: August 15th.

Android devices have since continued to support Flash, but the release of the new Jelly Bean OS will discontinue it. Adobe has even advised against using Flash if devices currently running it are then later updated to Jelly Bean. No word on Flash’s fate on desktops.
