A video has been released showing George Zimmerman, at the spot of the incident, reenacting his killing of Trayvon Martin for police one day after it happened. The video was posted by Zimmerman’s defense team, and Zimmerman paints Martin as the aggressor.

According to Zimmerman, Martin confronted him, and then knocked him to the ground with a punch. After a scuffle, he claims Martin reached for his gun, leaving him no choice but shoot the 17-year-old.

Zimmerman added that Martin slammed his head on the sidewalk multiple times, to the point he felt his head was about to “explode.” In the video, two butterfly bandages can be seen on the back of his head and one is seen on his nose.

Zimmerman, who’s awaiting trial for his second-degree murder charge, remains in custody after being ordered back to prison by a judge for allegedly lying to a court about his financial status.
