Ubisoft Announces "Assassin's Creed III" Wolfpack Co-op Mode

They unveiled the new Wolfpack mode at Comic-Con.

At San Diego Comic-Con 2012, Ubisoft unveiled a brand new multiplayer mode for Assassin's Creed III: Wolfpack.

Wolfpack pits packs of 2-4 players against NPC targets, tasking them with taking down multiple people at a time. Non-target NPCs reportedly won't care when you murder someone right next to them, but multiple targets might flee if you take out a target near them, so it's best to coordinate with your teammates and assassinate all of them at once.

It's also super fast-paced, since as soon as you take out one group of targets you're presented with the next. And since you're not worried about being stealthy, you can concentrate on getting to your targets as quickly as possible. You'll even be given special items (like poison darts) that increase your score if you choose to use them.

Does Wolfpack sound like the kind of addition you want in the Assassin's Creed series? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
