Simple, right?

The 2012 Pokémon U.S. National Championships took place in Indianapolis over the weekend, and 36 US players will be moving on to the 2012 Pokémon World Championships in Hawaii August 11-12. Twelve of those competitors will do battle in Pokemon Black and White, while the other 24 play the Pokemon Trading Card Game.

The video game players will be twelve among many at the World Championships, but as a "special incentive," the Pokemon Company International has announced that a select few top competitors will be forever immortalized in the upcoming Pokemon Black 2 and White 2.

The selected players will be digitized and distributed to Black 2 and White 2's "Pokemon World Tournament," a special battle arena debuting in the new games, where players will be able to challenge them and fight against their competition-grade teams.

Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 are releasing in the US on October 7. Will you look forward to getting your ass beat by the virtual world championship players? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
