That upcoming Lars von Trier film that Shia LaBeouf is supposedly going to have unsimulated sex in? Y'know, Nymphomaniac? Right, well, according to LaBeouf himself, getting that role was simple - he just had some unsimulated sex of his own on camera and sent the tape right over to Lars. In an appearance on Chelsea Lately, the LaBeouf - who also really dropped acid for a film role, because he's such the method actor - told host Chelsea Handler that he sent Von Trier multiple videotapes featuring himself and girlfriend Karolyn Pho having sex to secure a role in the film.

So, how does Pho feel about this? According to Radar Online, a source close to the couple divulges that the couple has been "on the rocks" since LaBeouf signed on to the project. "She wants him to do the film, because Shia was desperate to work with Lars – he's such a hero of his. But Karolyn doesn't want him having sex with somebody else – simple. She's begged Shia to ask Lars if it's possible to make the scenes appear real, rather than shoot them real."

Luckily for her, she may get her wish - a recent press release for Nymphomaniac acquired and posted by Slashfilm suggests that the sex scenes will be produced "with the help of body doubles and and visual effects."
