As part of what's probably the best pre-order bonus ever devised, those who reserve a copy of Hitman: Absolution, out November 20, get immediate access to the standalone downloadable title Hitman: Sniper Challenge. It's an engrossing mini-game involving taking out targets at a party from a distant rooftop.

And the Sniper Challenge is now available on PC.

Playing it in the months leading up to Absolution's release can even net you exclusive trips and prizes. The top player on the leaderboards in August, for example, will win an expenses-paid trip to the Major League Gaming Fall Championship in Dallas. The winner in Sept. gets a trip for two to San Diego to get a shooting lesson from an ex-Navy Seal sniper instructor, and the Oct. high-scorer wins a high-end Alienware gaming PC with accessories.

The top player at the times of the game's launch in November gets to visit IO Interactive in Copenhagen and have their likeness included in the next Hitman game, which apparently is already being planned.

So yeah, get that pre-order in and start practicing. Let us know what you think of the game (and those prizes!) in the comments or on Twitter.
