A blog post from the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive devs has revealed that there's an update dropping Monday along with a couple new maps.

The update is fixing "a ton" of bugs and includes a redone matchmaking system for classic competitive mode, and the maps are "the fast-paced" Monastery and "the classic" Vertigo.

The post doesn't reveal which platforms the update is coming to, so it could be all three (PC, XBLA and PSN) or it could just be Steam for now. Either way, we'll know on Monday. How do you think CS:GO stacks up to the original Counter-Strike?
