Everyone's favorite god-killer returns in God of War: Ascension. This newest trailer, from PAX 2012, gives us a little in-game footage of the Furies, the female deities of vengeance, that Kratos will be going up against in his newest title.
Ascension serves as a prequel to the whole God of War franchise and takes place six months after his family has died. The Furies are known in Greek mythology as the punishers of oath breakers, and they are sent to destroy Kratos after he breaks his oath with Ares.
The games is one of the most anticipated titles of 2013, and the game-play will be just over 14 hours long. It will be interesting to see what a mortal Kratos is capable of this time around. Let us know what you think on Twitter @ComplexVG.
