Since the Mars Curiosity rover first blew our minds and entered our hearts by landing on the surface of the Red planet in a miraculous feat of human engineering, the Internet has been filled with cobbled together videos of the landing. We've posted a couple of the better made clips, which compile footage captured by the rover during its descent, but this one is by far the best. It's in full, eyegasm-inducing HD with no perceivable dropped frames. And if that weren't enough, producer Bard Canning even added a full hi-res panorama of the Martian landscape as shot by Curiosity at the end. Watch above to really see what it's like to land on Mars.
