"A Good Day To Die Hard" Looks To Bring The Franchise Back To Its Roots In This New Trailer (Video)

John McClane is back.

After the fourth Die Hard movie raked in a small fortune at the box office, another installment was all but inevitable. So when A Good Day to Die Hard was finally announced, we weren’t at all surprised, but as always, we were concerned that it would sully the Die Hard brand name even further. In this sequel, Bruce Willis returns as John McClane as he travels to Moscow to help his son, who is played by Jai Courtney.

Aside from yet another pointless McClane family member being introduced in the movie, we’re happy to report that this new trailer doesn't look nearly as bad as it could have. The action and humor of the franchise are back, and so is the generally nasty disposition of John McClane. The only thing we’re still concerned about is whether or not the movie will have the same violence and foul-mouthed dialogue as the first three. Frankly, no one needs to see a PG-13 McClane.

A Good Day to Die Hard will hit theaters on February 14, 2013.
