Craig Robinson To Star In New NBC Comedy From "Office" Producer Greg Daniels

It won't be a spin-off, thankfully.

None

With The Office prepping its final batch of episodes, the show’s stars will all be looking for other projects to pursue in the coming months. And for Craig Robinson, who plays Darryl on the series, it looks like he won’t have to wait long, as Deadline is reporting that he will star in an upcoming NBC comedy from Office executive producer, Greg Daniels.

In the show, Robinson will portray a middle-school music teacher with “rough edges.” But to keep his job, he needs to adjust to the life of being a teacher and stay away from the temptation of single mothers. Along with the potential Office spin-off, titled The Farm, starring Rainn Wilson, this yet-untitled show will be NBC’s attempt to give fans familiar faces in new situations. It’s just a question of whether or not it will actually work.
