Only a couple of weeks after extending The Mindy Project's first season by nine episodes, Fox has given the series an additional two episode order. This brings the number of episodes for season one to 24 total. The series has been a good performer for the network since its premiere last month, pulling in solid numbers despite losing some audience from its New Girl lead-in.
