Fans hoping to see Matt Damon and Jeremy Renner team up for a new Bourne movie are probably out of luck because in an interview with Movie Line, Damon admitted that he probably won’t be reprising his role as Jason Bourne any time soon.

"There has not been any movement," Damon told the site when asked about a potential return. "I've always been open to it as long as Paul Greengrass directs, I don't think he's going to do it." He then admitted that he hasn’t even seen The Bourne Legacy yet, which replaced him with Renner as the main character.

He then told the site, "I'd really love to do another one because I love the character." But then said that after the closure of the third one, he wonders, "where do you go next?"

Are you pleased with Renner moving forward, or is the franchise forever tainted without Damon? Let us know what you think.
