We knew this was coming. According to TV Line, both Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have been confirmed to return for the upcoming Boy Meets World spin-off pilot, titled Girl Meets World, on The Disney Channel. The show will focus on the 13-year-old daughter of Cory and Topanga, and how she adjusts to growing up. Michael Jacobs, the creator of the original, is on board as an executive producer here, and the pilot is said to still be in the early stages of development.
With both Savage and Fishel on board, we’re hoping that other members of the Boy Meets World cast decide to reprise their roles as well. Currently a nationwide casting search is underway to find the perfect actress for 13-year-old Riley.
