While it's true that news satire organization The Onion still has the ability to dupe people into thinking their reports are for real, generally one look at their front page is able to tip people off that the articles are fake.

Unfortunately, it looks like Chinese Communist Party propaganda site People's Daily didn't do their research. In response to a post that went up on The Onion earlier this month naming North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un the "sexiest man of 2012," People's Daily posted a 55-page slideshow to commemorate the communist figure's so-called U.S. win.

"U.S. website The Onion has named North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Un as the 'Sexiest Man Alive for the year 2012'," the article reads, before quoting The Onion's post which credited Jong-Un's "devastatingly handsome, round face, his boyish charm, and his strong, sturdy frame" as reasons that he's "every woman's dream come true."

What follows is a slideshow of Jong-Un's most provocative photos, including shots of him riding a horse, perusing produce, and being nice to old people.

The Onion has, of course, gotten wind of this, and posted an update on the original story to give a shout-out to their new buds at People's Daily:

None

People's Daily has released no comment at this time - in fact, they haven't even taken down their article and slideshow, yet. Aww, it's like you kind of just want to pat them on the head and give them a cookie, or something.
