Christoph Waltz Is In Negotiations To Join "Muppets" Sequel

Best. Idea. Ever.

None

Variety is reporting that Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds) is in negotiations to join the cast of Disney’s upcoming Muppets sequel. If the deal goes through, Waltz will play an Interpol agent in the European-set comedy. Though the movie will likely feature plenty of cameos, this will be more of a starring role than just a quick gag.

The yet-untitled Muppets sequel will again be directed by James Bobin, who received great acclaim for his work on the first one. There is no official release date for the movie as of yet.
