DC and Vertigo comics are now available from Amazon’s Kindle Store, Apple’s iBookstore and Barnes & Noble’s Nook Store, making it easier for fans to stay up-to-date with their favorite comic book series.

Jim Lee, co-publisher of DC Entertainment, discussed the expansion with the Hollywood Reporter:

"As e-readers and tablets continue to explode in popularity it's important for us to offer consumers convenience and choice in how they download digital comics and graphic novels and these new distribution deals with the top three e-bookstores do just that. We’re very excited to work with Amazon, Apple and Barnes & Noble to bring best-selling DC Comics and Vertigo periodicals to their e-bookstores.”

Some of the titles available digitally include Justice LeagueBatmanSupermanDetective ComicsAction ComicsBatgirlWonder Woman, and Green Lantern. More popular titles will be available in the near future.

Going digital has been a great move for DC Comics. The comic book publisher was the first company to offer print and digital periodicals on the same date. This lead to increased sales and for the past year DC Comics has outsold rival comic book publisher, Marvel. Check out all the available DC Comic and DC Entertainment graphic novels titles from Kindle Store, iBook Store and Nook Store today.
