According to multiple sources at The Verge, Microsoft is currently developing a 7-inch Xbox gaming tablet dubbed, Xbox Surface.
The tablet will be formidable. The tablet will run with a custom ARM processor and high-bandwidth RAM specifically designed for gaming. It will not run a full version of Windows, but will integrate Windows features such as messaging, although the main focus will be gaming.
The Microsoft offices in Silicon Valley have gone on full lock-down after it was revealed that the Surface was in development. Employees and visitors to the campus have been faced with all kinds of new security measures since the leak has gone public.
