A man was arrested today for allegedly planning an Aurora-style massacre during a screening of Breaking Dawn Pt. 2 at a Missouri theater, police say. According to Missouri local news site KSDK, the man, 20-year-old Blaec Lammers, had already purchased two assault rifles, over 400 rounds of ammunition, and tickets to a Sunday showing of the film in Bolivar, Missouri, where he intended to carry out his plan.

It was reportedly Lammers' mother who reported her son's plans to the police yesterday. He was taken in for questioning, where police then discovered he had also been planning to attack a local Walmart, because, according to court documents, "he feared running out of ammunition and he would have access to additional ammunition inside the Walmart."

Lammers was charged with first-degree assault, making a terroristic threat and armed criminal action, and is currently being held on a $500,000 bond.
