Microsoft Surface was released last week, and most people seem to think the tablet is pretty cool if a little over-priced. But forget about what most people think because Oprah has spoken. The Queen of all Media resurrected her "Oprah's Favorite Things List" this year, and Surface made the cut. In fact, it's the only tablet or computer among the dozens of covetable items chosen.
According to Oprah's ringing review, Surface "feels like a Mercedes-Benz" and its keyboard cover and light weight make it "a great alternative to a laptop."
Asked what she thought about the tablet's controversial Windows 8 software, Oprah admitted that she never actually turned on the device, but said her assistant Jim assured her that Oprah.com looked beautiful on it.
