This was basically inevitable.

None

A few days ago we reported on a rumor that stated Millennium Films and Lionsgate were going to move forward with another Texas Chainsaw movie after the most recent installment, Texas Chainsaw 3D, cleaned up at the box office over the weekend. Now, that rumor has become a reality as Deadline is confirming that the studios will indeed be putting out a sequel to the surprise hit as soon as possible.

The movie, which the site is saying will be titled Texas Chainsaw 4, will be put into motion by a staff of producers, one of them being Tobe Hooper, the director of the first two Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies. Texas Chainsaw 3D, is a sequel to the originals, and Texas Chainsaw 4 will follow that up. Production is set to begin in Louisiana later this year.
