According to The Hollywood Reporter, 20th Century Fox is planning a big screen adaptation of the Dark Horse Comics title Mind MGMT. The studio has hired Ridley Scott to produce it, along with Dark Horse’s Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg. The series began in May of 2012, and is written and illustrated by Matt Kindt.

The book focuses on a young journalist named Meru who is investigating the case of a mysterious airline flight that caused everyone on board to lose their memories. Once she starts digging into the story, she stumbles upon a secret government agency filled with psychic spies, known as the Mind Management Program.

The search is currently underway for a writer and director for the project, but with the immense critical success that Mind MGMT has gotten from people even outside of the comic book circle, plus the inclusion of Scott, Fox should easily be able to attract some A-list talent.
