Team Meat's Mew-Genics is a game about cats. We know that part for sure. What we're not so sure about is the purpose of all of these cats.
We do know that we will get our hands on some magical, time-travel inducing, cat-poop. The rest is mainly speculation at this point. Ed McMillen revealed on the Team Meat Blog that you will also need to freeze your cats, you know, for the future.
"Have you ever loved something so much that you wanted to bring it into the future so your children's children could enjoy it?" McMillen wrote. "Or how about simply wanting to put something on ice before you get arrested for animal abuse? Or how about just needing to freeze a kitten seconds before you off yourself so your future self can look at it on the wall and remember the life you once had?"
Still no release date for the title, but it's expected sometime this year.
