Nintendo revealed during that Nintendo Direct event this morning that two Zelda games are in the works: both a brand new Zelda game for Wii U, and a stunning-looking HD remake of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.
Wind Waker HD will be available in the fall, while they said Zelda Wii U will take considerably longer. But we have plenty to look forward to; during the broadcast, Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma reportedly said that the new Zelda game for Wii U will "rethink the conventions of Zelda," apparently hinting at multiplayer and a more open-world, less linear experience.
