Another romantic comedy, of course.

Adam Sandler has just signed on to a new romantic comedy that could reunite him with his Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates co-star Drew Barrymore, Variety is reporting. The film, which hails from Warner Bros., is untitled for now, but it apparently will explore the "growing phenomenon of 'blended families,'" and follow a couple who go on an awful blind date before finding themselves and their children from previous relationships stuck together. Barrymore is in talks to star as the female lead, but so far no deal has been finalized.

The film is reportedly slated to begin production in May. Will it be the project that helps Sandler get his swag back, as we suggested he pursue back in June? No, probably not; but it will undoubtedly make loads of money in the box office, as most of Sandler's rom-coms do. Good enough, we guess.
