One more film, and Jennifer Lawrence has officially become David O. Russell's muse. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Russell has just signed on to direct Lawrence in one of her next projects, which was reported last summer - The Ends of The Earth, a "fact-based love story about a powerful oil tycoon Ernest Marland, who has everything stripped from him after he is caught in an affair with Lydie, his adopted daughter." Fun!

This will make the third film Russell and Lawrence have worked on together, the first being the Oscar-nominated Silver Linings Playbook and the second being the film formerly known as American Bullshit (which will also reunite her with Silver Linings co-star Bradley Cooper).

"Jennifer possesses a self-deprecating humor that made all of the cast and crew feel at ease," Russell told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement. "She is the most dedicated person I know. She is devoted to her family, and they have been the true inspiration for her character and integrity. Her acting is effortless, and she always makes it look easy." Some people also think she is on shrooms.

As previously reported, the film was written by Argo screenwriter Chris Terrio.
