X-Men: Days of Future Past is slowly becoming our most anticipated comic book movie currently in production. Not only is it reuniting the best cast members from the franchise’s previous four installments, but it’s also based on one of the best comic book storylines in X-Men history. And now, in an interview with SFX, Fox's creative consultant Mark Millar confirmed that the Sentinels will finally make their big screen debut in the movie. Here is what he said:

None

For those unaware, the Sentinels are gigantic robots created for the sole purpose of hunting down and destroying the mutants from the comic books. They are ubiquitous in the original Days of Future Past story, but for some reason no X movie has attempted to include them, save for that brief appearance in The Last Stand. Thankfully it looks like Bryan Singer is finally going to give us what we have been waiting 13 years for.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will hit theaters on July 18, 2014.
