There is no shortage of love for modern classic The Wire (although there's always room for more). Our friends over at First We Feast have rounded up the 25 best food moments from the show. Baltimore may not be the most obvious choice for great food (compared to shows in say, New Orleans or New York) but there's plenty of crab cakes, lake trout, and Chicken McNuggets to go around.
Some moments are important for the characters and the plot, like McNulty (Dominic West) eating with Bodie (J.D. Williams) at the sandwich shop, while others just add some flavor (pun intended), like suspects getting McDonald's while under interrogation.
Oh, and as if you could forget. Omar loves cheerios. Get the man some Honey Nut.
