IFC Films has released a trailer for the new documentary Room 237, which is about the making of the 1980 film The Shining and the conspiracy theories surrounding it (apparently there are a lot). The trailer doesn't even show any footage from either movie, and somehow it is still creepy as shit.

Production on Stanley Kubrick's horror masterpiece was famously rough, and in the 30 years since, devoted fans have come up with all sorts of theories about it. Directed by Rodney Ascher, the documentary also includes footage of other Kubrick movies including A Clockwork Orange and 2001: A Space Odyssey, as well as archival video of Kubrick, Stephen King, and Jack Nicholson.

Room 237 hits theaters March 31.
