Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby has been pushed back several times, but it looks like Fitzgerald's magnum opus will finally come out this spring.
Isla Fisher, aka Mrs. Sacha Baron Cohen, plays Myrtle Wilson, the low-class mistress of Daisy Buchanan's (Carey Mulligan) husband. She causes a lot of trouble for everyone, to say the least.
Fisher covers the new May 2013 issue of Canadian magazine Fashion, and we hope this is just the beginning of her press tour for The Great Gatsby, because we'd love to see more of her.
She got her breakthrough role as Vince Vaughn's crazy girlfriend in Wedding Crashers. Fisher recently starred in Bachelorette, a biting comedy starring Kirsten Dunst, Rebel Wilson, and Lizzy Caplan.
"I recently wrote a script with my mom—a thriller—just for fun because I enjoy writing so much. It has involved a lot of gin and tonic, a lot of giggling, a lot of late night emailing back and forth. I highly recommend actually doing something creative with a family member," she said. "When you get to know someone creatively you get to know a whole other side to them."
The Great Gatsby comes out May 10.
