So this is a real thing. Microsoft will be introducing a new Pizza Hut app for Xbox 360 users to order pizza directly from your dashboard using your Kinect sensor.

Where do we even start on this one. From a business standpoint, we guess it was only a matter of time before product placement became an interactive feature. As opposed to just being a visual cue used by companies to tickle our consumer centers, product placement now makes us yell voice commands and gesticulate wildly at our television in order to get a pizza to the face.

From a practical standpoint, was picking up a phone, or navigating Pizza Hut's hilariously dated website, proving to be be difficult for a CHUD person to accomplish? We know that the initial effort required to peel yourself off that sectional seems Herculean, but hey, there's pizza involved.

"We're always looking at ways to give our audience more of what they're interested in," Xbox's Larry Hryb told Polygon. "If you look at our audience, they love pizza. I mean, who doesn't? It has international appeal, and Pizza Hut is a recognized brand that matches up well with the Xbox brand."

Yeah. Did someone forget to tell homeboy that Pizza Hut is not most people's go to delivery choice? Although, P'Zones are still a thing and Pizza Hut is the only place to get those. The service goes live later today. Let us know if this seems as hysterical to you as it does to us.
