Apple quietly rolled out a new, cheaper version of its iPod this morning. The new edition comes with 16GB of storage and a price tag of $229—which is cheaper than the 32GB classic iPod Touch that costs $299, and the 64GB version that costs $399. The differences between these versions go a little deeper than storage and price. This new 16GB iPod lacks one big thing we have all become accustomed to: a rear-facing camera. Don't worry, you'll still be able to take your selfies using its front-facing camera, which Apple decided to leave in.
The new edition also only comes in one color: grey with a black front. It's shipping today, so you'll be able to pick one up tomorrow at an Apple store.
