Edgar Wright Directed a Shot in "Star Trek Into Darkness"

Secret's out.

None

Last month, director Edgar Wright teased his involvement in another summer blockbuster, besides his highly anticipated action-comedy The World's End. Many suspected that he was hinting toward an appearance by Ant-Man, the Marvel superhero whose movie Wright is directing, in Iron Man 3, at least, in the post-credits. If you've seen it, you know that didn't happen.

Well, we can all stop speculating now, because earlier today, the British filmmaker sent the following tweet:

There are 2120 shots in 'Star Trek Into Darkness'. I directed one of them. Looking forward to seeing the other 2119. twitter.com/edgarwright/st…

His involvement in J.J. AbramsStar Trek Into Darkness, in theaters next Thursday night, makes sense, considering his buddy and frequent collaborator, Simon Pegg, stars as Scotty in the film. Now that you can quit guessing which movie he's involved in, anyone want to place bets on which shot Wright directed?
