Well, this is quite possibly the tastiest slice of found VHS footage/video game propaganda we've ever seen.

While video games have a a rich tradition of regrettable merchandising tie-ins, this one is amazing for the sheer low budget, direct-to-video aesthetic of it all. Apparently, in 1996 there was a series of live action Mortal Kombat publicity tours that were being used to promote the game. You'd end up at a mall food court or the parking lot of a Home Depot and be treated to this. Please watch and let us know what you think. 

It's like our eyes are made out of melting neopolitan ice cream, this is amazing. Money changed hands for this to be made. Brilliant.
