NYU art history professor Ross Finocchio has a strong appreciation for works of art. The female anatomy can be considered one, but that doesn't mean Finocchio had the right to spy on women inside of changing rooms at a store on the Upper West Side.

The 34-year-old Finnochio was arrested on Monday after a boutique customer watched him slide an object from his dressing room to hers. That object turned out to be  his phone, which he had placed on his shoe. It seems he was attempting to capture women in states of undress by executing a sweeping motion.

The store manager who eventually confronted Finnochio said he was "sweating profusely." He expressed his embarrassment, initially claiming that he was recording himself for a project. That's where the "NYU professor" tag comes in handy. However, he finally came clean, copping to filming women for his own perverted reasons. He was arrested and charged with unlawful surveillance.

A university spokesperson said Finnochio wouldn't not have any contact with students until the investigation was finished. Meanwhile, everyone (yes, everyone) is looking at him like he's a creep.
