Stop by this Dubai Hotel for a Gold-Plated iPad with your Room

It would make Goldfinger proud.

One of the world's most luxurious hotels just upped its luxury game by adding gold-plated iPads to its list of amenities.

Dubai's Burj Al Arab hotel is giving 24-carat gold-plated iPads, made by Gold & Co, to guests during their stay because that's what happens in the 22nd most expensive city in the world. The iPads come complete with the Burj Al Arab logo engraved on its back, and can be picked up in the hotel's boutique. They say the iPads will act as a "virtual concierge" that will have information on restaurant, spa treatments and butlers services on hand.

In the cut-throat environment that is the hotel business, we won't be surprised if a platinum iPad will soon be on the horizon to trump this gold one out.
