It seems that Clueless star and diehard Mitt Romney fan Stacey Dash is the latest celebrity to rush to the defense of Paula Deen following her racism scandal—only a day after Glenn Beck voiced his support for the celebrity chef, and a few days after Bill Maher wondered on his show whether or not she should get a free pass or not because she was raised in Georgia and "a child before the civil rights movement."

Dash reached out to Deen via her Twitter earlier today:

God does everything for a reason @Paula_Deen Only God can judge your heart BTW my daughter loves your show (only way she can get me to cook)

If you're not aware, the scandal surrounding Deen was sparked last week after a deposition transcript that included Deen making both racist and anti-Semitic jokes leaked onto the Internet. Deen also described her ideal Southern plantation wedding, and detailed that it would include black waiters dressed as slaves serving guests. This is the woman that Stacey Dash, an actress who is part African-American, just voiced her support to.

SMH.
