Philadelphia might have a serious chemical issue on their hands considering the appearance of this sinkhole that appears to be filled with a suspicious green liquid. We're just kidding—as it turns out, the green substance is simply water colored with fluorescent dye. This is often done by cities to see where sinkholes lead so the problem can be identified and fixed.

The hole has since been covered, but not before everyone let off a stream of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles jokes. It's a testament to the popularity of Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo and Michelangelo, and the general awesomeness of the 1980s.
