Dr Pepper recently launched its One of a Kind Collaboration series, commissioning singularly talented craftsmen to create wholly unique new works. The end result is a collection of pieces that are literally one of a kind, much like the artisans who made them. The designers and their products include:
-Dennis Calvero, co-owner of the LA-based streetwear line Crooks & Castles, has put his fashion expertise to good use with his custom Varsity jacket, complete with Crooks x Dr Pepper tags and custom lining,
-Singer and Grammy-nominated songwriter The Dream has devised a pair of Sunglasses inspired by the Dr Pepper colorways, complete with crystal-encrusted lenses.
-Designer, animator, and “Uber-Illustrator Supreme” Tracy Tubera has created a resin figurine character based on the iconic Dr Pepper can.
-Producer, radio personality, and global club sensation DJ Green Lantern called upon his years of spinning expertise to create his custom-designed turntable.
-Pro-skater turned skate and streetwear icon, Keith Hufnagel, founder of HUF, has designed a slick new skateboard deck that features a modern depiction of vintage railway tickets.
-Greg Mike, the co-founder of ABV and a man who has combined NYC street art with mass-market illustration, has created a fine art piece featuring a “Mad Can” incarnation of the classic Dr Pepper can.
-The Brooklyn-based Tri-Lox Workshop has constructed a distinctive bar stool made entirely of materials salvaged from NYC’s rooftop water towers.
-Another Brooklyn mainstay, Rocksmith streetwear, which was spawned by a crew of Tokyo-based DJs, has created a mixtape inspired ring made with precious metals.
