With every new bit of promotional material that's released for Lars von Trier's upcoming project, Nymphomaniac, we grow more and more confident that this film is going to be brilliant. While the first teaser introduced us to a young Joe (who is portrayed as an adult by Charlotte Gainsbourg, and as a twenty-something by Stacy Martin) as she's being persuaded by her friend to have a quickie with a random man on a train, this second clip seems to revolve more around introducing us to Shia LaBeouf's character Jerôme, and detailing how he meets Joe.

Yesterday, Vulture posted a new and very NSFW still featuring Martin and LaBeouf, so it's clear that the two will become intimate at some point in the film—and this clip only confirms that. It starts off innocently enough, with LaBeouf leading a recently-employed Martin around an office and introducing her to co-workers in a harmless, albiet awkward fashion. It turns sinister towards the end, when the two enter an elevator together, and LaBeouf flips the emergency brake when she's not paying attention.

Along with yesterday's still on Vulture, the following description about Jerôme was released:

None

Nymphomaniac is set to hit theaters in Denmark on Christmas day because they do things very different in Europe, but there's no stateside release date just yet. Unless you're willing to schlep off to Denmark, we're all going to have to wait for this one.
