Ever witnessed something jump the shark after it's already been dead and buried? In haphazard attempt to be that cool, weed-smoking professor, Tufts University actually asked applicants to pen an essay describing what the term "YOLO" means to them? We are dead serious, folks.  Worse, so are they:

None

"YOLO" was officially retired last year, even though it was really over in 2011 when Drake released "The Motto" as a single. Why did Tufts feel the need to resurrect it, only to kill it again? Also, it will never be a "Carpe diem" or "Semper Fi," so just let it rest in peace. At the same time, this kind of makes you envious (or flat out angry) that your college essay wasn't as easy or simply ridiculous. Unless, of course, it was.
