Bradley Cooper Might Finally Play Lance Armstrong In New Biopic

He'll either play Lance Armstrong, or his former friend.

Another day, another Lance Armstrong biopic. According to Deadline, this one is from Game Change director Jay Roach, and has Bradley Cooper signed on to produce and possibly headline the film.

It's not too clear whether or not Cooper will be portraying Armstrong as the rumors have been saying since this past January, or if he'll be portraying Armstrong's former friend Tyler Hamilton who revealed in a 2011 60 Minutes interview that he saw Armstrong doping. Cooper will definitely be producing the project, though, which is titled Red Blooded American.

This will be the third Armstrong-centric biopic to currently enter production: Ben Foster is starring as Armstrong in a biopic scripted by Trainspotting's John Hodge, and J.J. Abrams is producing one that Cooper was coincidentally also approached to star in. Either way, everyone should probably start preparing all their doping jokes.
