Fifty years to the day after Martin Luther King, Jr., stood at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, President Barack Obama will stand there as well, to commemorate the civil rights icon and his legendary speech. Its a momentous anniversary, and Google is honoring the MLK as well, in Google-style: with a Doodle.
In today's Doodle, which you can check out on Google's main page or in the image above, MLK is seen from behind, with the text to his speech displayed around him. Fun fact: MLK's speech almost didn't include the line, "I have a dream." It wasn't in his original speech, and he improvised the line and the paragraphs that followed.
So, today, remember this great speech from an even greater man.
