Great news for Spike Lee's upcoming Kickstarter-funded film: In an announcement on the Kickstarter page today, Lee revealed that actor Michael K. Williams—best known for his flawless performance as Omar in HBO's The Wire—is set to join the cast of the mysterious project.

Why did he capitalize the first letter of every single word in the announcement? It doesn't matter, because he's Spike Lee, and he can do what he wants:

None

Williams joins the already announced male lead Stephen Tyrone Williams, and the already announced female lead, Zaraah Abrahams. There's still no word on exactly what the film entails plot-wise, except that it'll be about humans who are addicted to blood, who are not vampires (and definitely nothing like Blacula).

Lee's Kickstarter for the project officially hit its goal of $1,250,000 raised late last week, and the page closed for donations about two hours ago with a total of $1,418,910.
