Consider Lee Daniels' The Butler officially marked with a presidential seal of approval. In an interview with Tom Joyner and Sybil Wilkes on the Tom Joyner Morning Show yesterday, President Obama revealed that he enjoyed Lee Daniels' new Forest Whitaker-starring film, The Butler, and that it even made him shed a few presidential tears when he watched it recently:

None

He also revealed that his favorite part of the movie involved "some of the jokes Cuba Gooding told," but he wouldn't specify more than that because a good president doesn't reveal any spoilers when he's reviewing movies. He also commented that Oprah is a "wonderful" actresses, saying: "Oprah, my girl, she can act."

Lee Daniels' The Butler: Made Obama cry, but Cuba Gooding Jr. made him laugh. Duly noted.
