I used to think that nothing Syfy did would ever come close to being as amazing as Sharknado was, but now I see that I may have been wrong. Judging by this trailer, their new original film, Avalanche Sharks, might actually come really close.
The film is pretty much what it sounds like from the title: At one point, there will indeed be an avalanche of blood-thirsty sharks gliding down a mountain side like an act of nature from your NIGHTMARES. The rest of the movie will focus on a "mystical" group of sharks who can swim in the snow, and who spend their time eating unwitting co-eds who thought they were being real smart by going skiing for spring break instead of to the beach like everyone else. "Sharks are at the beach," they probably thought. "They'll never find us here!"

Anyway, this movie looks amazing. There's no broadcast date on Syfy yet, unfortunately, but until then, you can check out the trailer above.
