Steve Wozniak, Apple's co-founder, isn't too impressed by Apple's newest product, the iPad Air. But the reason why isn't what you'd expect.
While on stage for an interview at Apps World in London, Wozniak admitted that, though he was excited for the new announcements, he was let down when the products were revealed: "I am constantly following the gadget world but I was on a plane and missed all of the keynote, but when I finally took a look at the devices, the iPads didn't hit my needs," he said. "Yes, it's thinner but I wanted storage. I don't have broadband at home, so I carry all my personal media in the iPad. So I was hoping Apple has a 256 GB iPad."
Did you see that? I don't have broadband at home. How does one of the most technically savvy guys on the planet not have broadband in his house? Whatever the reasons, Woz needs to have stuff directly on his iPad, and doesn't want to rely on streaming. "I can't order a movie from iTunes and watch it straight away," he continued. "I could wait for it but I get bored by then. It's because of my lousy phone company, but that is life.
"So I emailed my wife and said I didn't want one of those."
