Come Monday, new rules will place D.C.'sfood trucks in assigned spaces. A total of 95 spaces will be reserved at eight locations around the District from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. for every truck that's part of a lottery system. The Department of Transportation says that all non-participating trucks must stay 200 feet away from the eight locations, as well park legally and pay meter fees when required.
Below are the assigned spaces, as well as their locations:
None
These changes have not been welcomed with open arms. Beloved Cirque Cuisine shut down a week after CapMac because the lottery assigned them to locations where they didn't have a customer base. The full list of assigned spaces can be seen here, but the specific trucks are not named. You'll just have to roll the dice on Monday.
