Despite a huge number of setbacks, including "troubling reactions" from the audience in test screenings, Darren Aronofsky's next film Noah is moving forward—and, fortunately, judging by these first clips, it looks great.

Each running only 7 seconds long, the clips are more of a teaser to the upcoming full-length trailer, which is set to be released within the next 24 hours or so. The teasers gives us a small glimpse of just how epic the cinematography in this film is going to be—as well as a look at Russell Crowe as Noah, along with shots of Jennifer Connolly, and Emma Watson.

As previously reported, Paramount and director Aronofsky were "at odds" over editing Noah, because Aronosfky has been resistant to changes that Paramount wanted to make after test screenings in new York, Arizona, and California produced what they referred to as "worrisome results." No word on any new developments in the struggle to edit the film, but the fact that it's still scheduled for a spring 2014 release is a good sign—as is the release of these clips.

Noah is set to hit theaters on March 28, 2014. You can check out the first teaser above, and the second below.
