That's certainly an interesting take on Catwoman.

Well here it is. Months after DC revealed that the legendary Frank Miller would be returning to Batman’s world with a special variant cover for Detective Comics #27, the company has finally debuted the image online, which you can check out above. As you can see, the result is quite interesting, to say the least. It’s an image of Catwoman straight from the neo-noir mind of Miller, complete with a fishnet outfit and pitch-black inks. It's evident that this image won't sit well with some fans, but for those who are used to Miller's modern work, it shouldn't come as a shock.

The image was actually originally drawn by Miller for his All-Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder run from the mid-2000’s, but it was never released until now. In addition to the cover by Miller, Detective Comics #27 will also feature art and stories from a multitude of great Batman creators, including John Layman, Jason Fabok, Scott Snyder, Sean Murphy, Paul Dini, and Brad Meltzer. The issue will hit stands on January 8.
